I am still waiting for snow this winter in coastal South Carolina. If it comes I'll have to look up some neighbor kids and help them build a snowman or something. Your post reminds me of my own blog, Tales from the Kid in Me. http://kidinme.wordpress.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6586387559810879332.post-79580641089076330472009-01-12T00:35:00.000-05:002009-01-12T00:35:00.000-05:00My mom would get so exited when we had snow in SE ...My mom would get so exited when we had snow in SE Texas, that she would slip on her swimsuit (yes, swimsuit) and run outside--bare feet and all. I never understood this ritual, but it never failed to make us all laugh. Mother did some pretty crazy things during my childhood. Lets all "chillax" as my kids would say and let down our inhibitions and act silly more often! It is good medicine for our weary and sometimes heavy laiden hearts.
Love you,
PaulaPaula Simshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06352916779429222353noreply@blogger.com
